Ceeeeeelebrate good times, COME ON!
Happy Birthday to us! March 1st marks the day that MadeBrave stormed into the world.
And what a journey it’s been so far — we’ve designed branding for some awesome clients (including lots of work in one of our Andrew’s favourite industries – whisky), designed super-successful fundraising campaigns and even launched buses in giant toyboxes.
In the office we’ve been reminiscing about our own seven-year old birthday parties and what made them so good. It seems there’s a few common themes, including pirate fancy dress parties, fairy parties, McDonalds parties (chicken nuggets and strawberry milkshake = the fajitas and beer of kids) and pool parties galore.
And, in what must have been a sight to behold, one of our Account Managers (who shall remain nameless) even went to a Star Wars themed birthday party and made an R2D2 costume out of an upside-down washing basket. She was 21 at the time, though…
Special Delivery!
It’s not every day you hit the big 0-7, so we had to do something pretty epic to mark the occasion. We don’t do things by halves (you probably worked that out by now, based on how we celebrated Christmas). And it just so happens that Andrew’s mate Abid Faqir owns InflataWorld — which has the most awesomely mind-blowing inflatable obstacle course Glasgow has to offer. So, one quick catch-up phone call later, and we’ve arranged to have 1000 ball pit balls delivered (we didn’t count them, that’s just a guestimation) to fill up our Amigos Without Egos meeting room. And the inflatable unicorn was a nice touch, too. Don’t believe us? See for yourself!
As if that wasn’t enough, Abid set us up with the best birthday party any big kid at heart could dream of, at InflataWorld itself! We re-lived our childhoods racing around bouncy castles, getting out of breath, drinking too much fizzy juice (well… cocktail slushies!), and needing a time out. Lucky for us, our Campfire pals were here to film the whole thing – check it out!

Needless to say, we were pretty knackered in the studio the next day (oh hello, three cups of coffee before 11am) but it was totally worth it. What a way to celebrate turning seven! We are buzzing to see what the next seven years (and beyond) has in store for us. Now that we’ve joined forces with Campfire to create the BornOriginal Group, one thing’s for sure — this world belongs to the brave.
