Lens get it started in here!
A couple weeks back our Andrew Dobbie zoomed on over to City of Glasgow College to give a wide-angle talk on the ins-and-outs of photography as well as a few pointers for soon-to-be pro photographers (aka, pro-tographers—it’s a word the pros use, trust us). As is often the case, we couldn’t resist the urge to run a photo contest and give out some MadeBrave goodies on social media (we’re talking shirts and moleskines, people). To enter, students had to shoot “street style” photos and post them to Instagram with #MadeBraveCOGC. A few days in, and hundreds of entries later, we had more than a few shots to sift through (not that we mind—we like a good photo contest, so we do!).
We were really impressed with all of the entries, but these especially deserve a round of applause, hip-hip-hoorays, and a click or three to check out even more of their amazing work (maybe even give them a follow while you’re at it). Below are our tippy-top-ten winners, taking into consideration the overall process (that’s all the work that went into planning and prepping, shooting, then post-production), overall style, creativity, and concept.
These three City of Glasgow College photographers stood out over and above the rest, and they’ll be getting a full-on MadeBrave Goodie Bag:
The top spot though, goes to Rebecca MacPhail who gets a full day of hands-on experience around the studio here at Casa MadeBrave. Congratulations, Rebecca! (feel free to riverdance right about now)
