It’s not long to go, so here’s how we’re jumping on the saddle and getting ready for the Pedal for Scotland MadeBrave® Team Challenge…
It seemed like yesterday we announced our partnership with Pedal for Scotland, but it’s not long until we’ll be saddled up and raring to go at the start line on September 6th. For those who don’t know, the MadeBrave® Team Challenge is a cycle from Glasgow to Edinburgh, and a great way for you and your work pals to get fit, do a bit of team building and raise money for the amazing STV Appeal (if you haven’t signed up yet, shake a tail feather – there’s still time!) We’ve rallied the troops to take part on the day (us competitive? Never!) so here’s how Team MadeBrave® are preparing for the big event…
Cycling to Work
A lot of us live right here in Glasgow, so cycling to work has been a bit of trend at casa MadeBrave® lately! This way, we skip on traffic, get our buns lookin’ peachy and enjoy the sunshine – all before 9am!
Gettin’ Techy
On the off-chance that the sun isn’t splitting the sky (y’know, because we’re in Scotland) we’ve been taking it indoors and training rain or shine. All you need is a seat, a helmet, a paper moose and an Oculus Rift – sorted!
Skipping the Biscuits
Ooft, this has been the tough bit! We’re big fans of the odd biscuit here and there (by odd, we mean 5 HobNobs, 3 Tunnocks Tea Cakes and 7 Rich Teas in the one sitting) but in the name of fitness (and aerodynamics) we’ve been swapping our cookies for carrots on the run up to the challenge. #Dedication
Giving Back
We recently set up our JustGiving page and would love to raise £1000 (and more) for STV Appeal! They’re an amazing charity who help thousands of children right here in Scotland, and we’d love your help in reaching our total!
