Earlier this year we were lucky enough to work with Mary’s Meals, putting together their 2013 magazine and supporting the work they do for hundreds of thousands of children worldwide.

Having enjoyed working with them so much, we were thrilled to be asked to produce their new marketing material and continue to help the charity. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Mary’s Meals, here’s a bit of information on the work they do and the contributions they make to third world countries all over the globe.

Mary’s Meals provide food to schools in some of world’s poorest communities, where hunger and poverty prevent children from gaining an education. Many starving young people are forced to spend their days begging for food rather than going to school, leading to a lifetime of poverty. By providing schools with nutritious meals, children will attend, get fed, get an education and get a step on the ladder out of poverty.

We’re truly inspired by the work Mary’s Meals carry out, and as such couldn’t be happier to be working with them on their current marketing campaign. The fact that they’re a really great bunch of people is also a bonus! We’ve had Jane and Louise from the Media & Communications Department in with us today, feeding back and brainstorming on some of the designs we’ve been working on so far.

It’s been a really positive afternoon and we can’t wait to share with you some of the completed artworks. Watch this space and keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter for updates on their latest campaign.

Just make sure you’re ready with a box of tissues before watching their Oscar tipped documentary, Child 31. We may be a brave bunch, but not even our toughest team member could hold back the tears at our recent screening of the film…
