Refuweegee? Who are they?

Refuweegee (refugee + Weegie (people from Glasgow)) are a local charity. These lovely folks provide the practical necessities for new refugees to get settled and feel at home here in Glasgow.

How can I help?

*Present* -ing the Refuweegee Winter Wrap Up.

Drop by The Social Hub Glasgow and donate a coat, jacket, scarf, gloves – anything cosy you can spare – from now until December 15th. Just keep an eye out for the giant present parked in the lobby. Big as a full-size SUV. Can’t miss it.

All we ask is that anything you donate is new or good-as-new.

Put another way, if you wouldn’t give it to someone you do know, please don’t give it to someone you don’t!

Don’t have any like new or new winter wear to donate? No problem. You can donate other items from their wish list or make a cash donation to Refuweegee right here.

Big thanks to our partners The Social Hub Glasgow, BD Print, and IKEA for helping us pull this all together. Cheers, guys!
