From craft beer on our doorstep to free parking – here are a few things we love about being in the East End of Glasgow.
Back in April, we moved to our new home in Bridgeton, and safe to say, we love it here! Don’t get us wrong, we were a bit nervous at first (South Block holds a special place in our heart) but change is always good and moving here meant a whole new chapter for MadeBrave® and great things ahead. Almost six months on, we like to think we’re proper East Enders now, so here are a few of the things we love about being here.
East End Pals
Since moving to Bridgeton, we’ve met loads of great businesses just around the corner! Big shout out to our pals at The Corner Shop on Duke Street, Chemikal Underground, Couple of Cooks (our favourite lunch place), the best local you could ask for, West Brewery (love a craft beer, so we do!)
Free Parking
Parking in the city centre wasn’t always the easiest, but now we have a nice, big car park that’s completely free to use (there’s loads of street space around the building too). Happy drivers all round!
City Links
It’s only three minutes from Central and even quicker to Argyle Street, so if we fancy an M&S sarnie or salad, we’re only a quick train hop away. Also great for meetings, nights out and that birthday present you forgot about until this afternoon.
Our Studio
Our old studio was getting a bit tight (we were practically sitting on top of each other) but moving to The Albus in Bridgeton meant we could have space, glorious space (our team has grown by five since April) and create the studio of our geeky dreams.
We’re really proud to be a part of the regeneration of Glasgow’s east end and really look forward to more businesses making their way over (we’ll pop by with a muffin basket!)
