MadeBrave and Campfire will join forces to create the BornOriginal Group.

That’s right, we’ve found ourselves some new workmates so that we can continue to make brands bigger, bolder and stronger. MadeBrave and Campfire will continue to operate independently under our newly-created holding company BornOriginal Group.

Our head honcho Andrew Dobbie will become CEO of the group, which is another step towards achieving our “ … vision for the group is to enable clients to have access to specialist niche services from both Campfire and MadeBrave, but also gain from the strength and power of the group.”

Campfire founder Lewis Phillips, who will step up as a director and shareholder of BornOriginal whilst continuing to take the helm at Campfire, said “It’s an exciting new chapter for Campfire. Andrew and I have been friends for many years and we both strongly believe in the power of creative collaboration. Our companies share closely aligned values and culture and the strength we now have within the group’s complimentary service offerings will allow us to grow with some exciting opportunities and more international work on the horizon.”

“The vision for the group is to enable clients to have access to specialist niche services from both Campfire and MadeBrave, but also gain from the strength and power of the group.”

Campfire has worked with brands including Mercedes-Benz, Adidas, Google, Hard Rock Hotels, Irn-Bru, Pernod Ricard, VisitScotland, RBS and The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. The agency, located in Leith’s fast-growing creative and digital hub, specialises in creative, high-quality film production across multiple channels and has built credentials in emerging technologies including virtual reality (VR) and motion graphics.

We remain headquartered in the east end of Glasgow’s Clyde Gateway-owned Albus Building (a legacy building from the 2014 Commonwealth Games), but now have offices in Edinburgh and London. MadeBrave will continue to work with great clients, adding to the appointment as sole creative partner for First Bus Scotland, owned by global transport giant FirstGroup plc and lots more exciting news in the pipeline. We continue to offer brand, design, marketing strategy, social media, and campaign creation.

What does this mean for our current and future clients? It means that our work for you will still be MadeBrave-awesome, but with the added amazingness of world class videography à la Campfire. And what does it mean for our suppliers and fellow creative compadres? Collaboration is key – and with many projects ahead this year, we look forward to many more ventures with you all in the future!

In a world where content is becoming all about videos, videos, videos, we are stoked to take on this new chapter. To infinity, and beyond!
